Kilkenny Judo Club trains at the Dragon's Lair Dojo, located at 24a Hebron Industrial Estate in Kilkenny, Ireland. The club operates under the guidance of experienced instructors and is affiliated with the Irish Judo Association. Sessions are structured by age group, with juniors aged 7 to 15 training on Tuesdays from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. Seniors, aged 16 and older, train on Tuesdays from 8:30pm to 9:45pm and on Thursdays from 7pm to 8:30pm. The club follows school semesters and closes when schools are closed. Newcomers are welcome to join any Tuesday night and are advised to wear a tracksuit and sturdy long-sleeved top for their first session. Anthony Delaney, a 3rd Dan black belt and Level 2 certified coach, leads the instruction. He is a former All-Ireland champion (2011) and continues to train with the Irish Masters Squad. Anne-Marie Minogue is also part of the coaching team, with Garda vetting and training in child welfare and first aid. All coaches meet mandatory safety and welfare standards.
