Oishi Judo Club trains dedicated judoka in New York with structured programs for both youth and adults.

The club operates under the guidance of experienced instructors who bring consistency and expertise to every session. Oishi Judo hosts regular training that supports skill development, discipline, and physical fitness for all participants.

Instruction is led by a team of qualified coaches, each contributing to the club’s strong teaching foundation. Sensei Oishi teaches on Wednesdays and Saturdays, providing continuity for members across weekly sessions.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, Andrew Pernambuco and Jeff Summa lead adult and children’s classes, ensuring consistent coaching throughout the week.

For younger participants, the club offers dedicated Children's classes designed to engage and instruct judoka aged 5 years and older.

These sessions focus on foundational techniques, coordination, and respectful interaction in a supportive environment. Pamela Kersage joins Sensei Oishi to teach the Wednesday children's class, adding depth to the instructional team.

Adults are welcome to train in regularly scheduled sessions that accommodate evening and weekend availability. Adult classes are held Monday through Thursday at 6:00 PM, with an additional session on Saturday at 1:00 PM.

Children’s training takes place Tuesday through Thursday at 4:30 PM, plus a Saturday session at 11:30 AM.

Prospective members cannot participate in trial classes, but the club encourages observation before joining.

Parents and children may visit and watch a class to experience the training atmosphere firsthand.

This open observation policy helps families make informed decisions about participation.
