Southampton City Judo Club

Southampton City Judo Club is an independent Olympic judo sports club based in central Southampton, Hampshire, UK, led by head coach Lance Wicks, a 2nd Dan Black Belt and European Judo Union Level 5 coach with international involvement in judo competition and education. Founded in 2010 with support from Southampton Solent University, the club offers separate Junior (under 14) and Senior programs for adult beginners and recreational players, featuring training in competition, kata, and social activities, while also partnering with Parity Martial Arts and Wellness as of 2025.
