Burnaby Judo Club, located in the Bonsor Recreation Complex at 6550 Bonsor Avenue, Burnaby, British Columbia, is a non-profit, volunteer-run judo society founded in 1964 by brothers Tom and Henry Mukai. The club operates in a dedicated, climate-controlled dojo on the lower level, featuring European Judo Union-standard mats, lockers, showers, and washrooms. With a legacy of over 60 years, Burnaby Judo Club has produced numerous black belts and national and international champions under the mentorship of 7th Dan Tom Mukai, a Judo Canada life member and certified international referee.
