Formokan Judo Club (FJC) is Durham Region’s oldest continuously operating judo club, founded in 1975 by Charlie Formosa in Oshawa, Ontario. Located at 151 Cadillac Avenue North, FJC is a community hub offering judo classes for all ages and skill levels, from beginners to elite athletes. The club has a rich legacy, producing multiple national and international medalists, including two Canadian Olympians—Glen Beauchamp and Kelita Zupancic.
